One of the country’s leading local real estate agencies, Innobuild Private Limited Limited has established a working partnership with the Communication Studies Faculty of Mzuzu University.

The working relationship is aimed at building capacity on issues of land in the provision of sustainable infrastructure development which starts with the acquisition of well demarcated plots.

Speaking in an interview, Innobuild’s Northern Region Branch Manager, Gift Nyasulu said the students should be vigilant during management meetings in ensuring that the institutions they will be working for should develop deliberate policies that will enable employees to have good homes or plots.

“These communication managers have a big role to play in ensuring that the organizations they will be working for should create deliberate policies for employees to have a decent homes, a good home is built on a well demarcated plot with all the legal papers provided,” Nyasulu stressed.

Nyasulu then disclosed that the company will among others be decorating outstanding students with awards and other accolades.

Deputy Dean in the faculty of Communication Studies, Dr Precious Madula hailed the students themselves more particularly those from the Malawi Police Service for organizing the event which was part of event management subjects.

“What Innobuild Private Limited has done is quite very important considering that in our studies learners need to know practically how best they can interact with their clients or partners.

“Let me on behalf of the University also thank those students from the Malawi Police Service who have managed to bring in the sponsor at this time when Mzuni more particularly the Communications Department is looking for more of such type of assistance,” Madula said.

One of the students, Maurice Chapola presented some security tips which were in tandem with the theme of the event ‘Building Better and Secure Communities’ which also collaborated with the primary objective behind the establishment of Innobuild Private Limited.
