After dethroning their bitter arch rivals 5-3 in Airtel Top-8 Cup through postmatch penalties on Saturday, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers players have been treated to an early Christmas present by their club president, Thomson Mpinganjira.

The visibly jovial Wanderers president has also dedicated the Airtel Top-8 victory to the club supporters who have been starved of tangible victory for some time.

Mpinganjira has rewarded the Nomads players with the whole K17. 5 Million Kwacha which is the top prize money against an earlier arrangements where by the club gets 50 percent of the total stake.

“All the prize money should be shared among the players for the job well done and if there is a shortfall I might top up,” said Mpinganjira.
