After going down to Equatorial Guinea in the World Cup qualifiers, Malawi national team on Tuesday afternoon left that country for Malawi via Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The team was in the city of Malabo, for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Equatorial Guinea, which ended 1-0 in favour of the host nation and they spent a night in Addis Ababa before proceeding to Malawi tomorrow morning.
