Despite the worst performances in this year’s domestic soccer season, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have gone ahead to register its 30 member squad to take part in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Inter-club champions League slated for next month.
The 2023 TNM Super League champions whose performance this year is the worst in decades went down to Karonga United on Sunday, somehow exposing how pathetic the team is despite forging ahead with the ambitious idea to compete in the continental competition.
Bullets will face the high flying Zambia’s MTN champions, Red Arrows in the first preliminary round encounter whose winner will proceed to meet the Democratic Republic of Congo’s giants, TP Mazembe.
Mazembe is the same team that condemned Bullets out of last year’s CAF Competitions.
