Chitipa; Moyale Barracks Football Club have emerged champions of the Northern Region Supa 4 Bonanza after winning all their fixtures in the two-day tournament. 

The soldiers from the Third Battalion of the Malawi Defence Force collected seven points from three matches, securing two wins and one draw. 

Known as the Lions of Kaning’ina, Moyale registered a 1–0 victory over Chitipa United and a 2–0 triumph against Karonga United, while settling for a goalless draw against newly promoted Masters FC. 

Displaying both attacking efficiency and defensive discipline, Moyale finished the competition without conceding a single goal, raising hopes of a solid backline ahead of the new season. 

Flames versatile midfielder Charles Nkhoma was named Player of the Tournament and walked away K500,000 richer. 

“This award motivates me to work even harder for both Moyale and the Flames,” Nkhoma said

Organized as part of preparations for Northern Region-based teams ahead of the upcoming Premier League season, the Supa 4 Bonanza showcased competitive football and offered fans a glimpse of what to expect in 2026.
