Goshen City Dedza Dynamos Football Club has condemned in the strongest terms attempts by some of its debtors to attack the team’s partners and sponsors in pursuit of unsettled payments.
The condemnation follows remarks by frustrated supplier James Kasambala, who lashed out at the club’s sponsor, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, over an outstanding balance.
“On paper teams like Goshen City Dedza Dynamos FC are well sponsored, but on the ground people like Prophet Shepherd Bushiri don’t love football,” Kasambala charged.
He further blasted the club for failing to clear his dues: “Why are you behaving like a government department? A debt from March to July not paid. Disband the team if you don’t have money to run it.”
Bushiri’s spokesperson, Aubrey Kusakala, distanced himself from the matter, saying: “I don’t speak on behalf of the team. Kindly talk to the executive through the owner or the Chairperson.”
Club Chairperson Gerald Kampanikiza admitted the team owes Kasambala but cautioned against dragging sponsors’ names into disputes.
“It is true the club has a little outstanding balance with Mr Kasambala, but attacking other people just to settle debts with the team is not on. He supplied second‑hand football boots and we still remain with about K2. 4million to give him,” Kampanikiza said.

Meanwhile, Dedza Dynamos have endured a shaky start to the FDH Bank Premiership season. The team sits 14th on the log with just eight points from nine games, having won two, drawn two, and lost five.
