Kayinga in Tough Talking

One of the country’s top boxers living in the city of Mzuzu, Wongani Kayinga has challenge an inform and enterprising boxer, Salim Chazama to a ten round non title boxing match to be staged on 22 February 2022 at a venue yet to be determined.

Writing on Malawi Boxing News Facebook page, Kayinga bullied Chazama saying his time to shine on the local boxing scene will be dented with a very humiliative defeat he will never forget.

Kayinga boasted saying whatever Chazama calls himself does nothing to threaten him hence his availability for a challenge.

“I will start with a quote from Muhammad Ali to say, ‘I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit! suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion,” blasted Kayinga.

Wongani further continued ranting saying, for one to become a champion, has to fight one more round and he is into it with the former champion, Chazama.

“I had a lot of fear but it was good, for the first time, in the bout with Chrispine Moliati I didn’t have any fear. I thought it is easy but now this is what I’ve been waiting for’. No fear at all.

“Now it’s your turn Salimu Chazama ‘sudutsa malire amene nditakulembere’ watch out,” conluded Wongani.

Meanwhile, there is no immediate official response from Chazama though some social media platforms have reported that he will take this opportunity to showcase that he is still the best in the country.
